Originally from Western Canada, Dr. Rena Saini ND, completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta. Thereafter, she moved to Toronto to obtain a 4 year degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) where she graduated in 2008. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the College of Naturopathic Doctors Alberta (CNDA). Dr. Rena also does the NAET allergy elimination technique, as well as blood and biochemistry testing, acupuncture, and nutritional education.
Her belief is that individualized education and empowerment are just as important as treating the root cause of illness. She takes into consideration the mental, emotional and physical components to help her in diagnosis and treatment. Her holistic approach allows her to work with the patient to create a unique and effective plan. Dr. Rena works with a variety of conditions such as; maintaining a strong Immune system, PMS and Menopause, Anxiety, Fatigue, High blood pressure and Cardiovascular disease, Musculoskeletal conditions (muscles aches and pains), Digestive issues, Stress and Chronic illness, General well being, and Detoxification.
One of her passions is participating in aid work around the world. She has travelled to Guatemala in 2007, and China in 2010 and 2012. Dr. Rena holds talks and educational programs around the community, as she has a passion for connecting with individuals and promoting change. She has also practiced yoga for 4 years and is a certified SOYA yoga, and teaches many styles including Ashtanga yoga.
