Kirsten graduated from the University of Alberta in 1990 with a Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy with Distinction. Since then she has resided and worked in Fort McMurray, devoting 23 years to treating various orthopedic, industrial, post-surgical and sports related injuries in a private practice setting.
Along the way Kirsten acquired an impressive amount of manual therapy accreditation in such areas as spinal manipulation and soft tissue and neural mobilization. “I consider it a personal challenge to help others resolve their physical dysfunctions; to offer a better understanding of good body mechanics.”
Kirsten is very active within the community and has worked with various organized sporting groups as a venue Physiotherapist (Alberta and Arctic Winter Games, Fort McMurray Oilsands Marathon).
“On a personal level, I am keenly involved in the sport of marathons and ultra-distance events, as well as triathlons. As counterpoint, I relax by oil and water-colour painting. I believe that the singularity of Achieve Wellness lies in its all-encompassing approach to treating the entire human being, from “head to toe”.”
