What happens during a ThermiSmooth™ treatment?
A small amount of gel is first applied to the area of skin’s surface in the treatment area. A specific target temperature is set and the hand piece is moved across the treatment area gently in a sweeping or circular pattern. The system will automatically adjust the temperature of the device based on feedback from the patient’s skin. Each area is treated for 15-20 minutes.
How soon will I see results after a ThermiSmooth™ treatment?
While multiple treatments may be necessary, most patients will see result after the first treatment with full results developing over 3 to 6 months. The treatment achieves remarkable results comfortably. ThermiSmooth treatments are performed in a series of sessions for optimal outcomes. The number and frequency of treatments will vary based on your individual needs. Results compound over the following weeks and months as your body produces new collagen. We recommend 4 treatments 2-3 weeks apart for most patients. Results are permanent however you will continue to age so we recommend a maintenance session after 6-12 months.
